What is the Tennis Leader Award?
Your first step towards a career in tennis or sport is Tennis Leaders. Great for those taking the Duke Of Edinburgh Award and assisting with tennis coaching as your volunteering option. Even if you don’t think you want to work in sport, becoming a tennis leader will provide you with lots of skills, experience and knowledge that will help you when applying for courses, universities and with your CV when you apply for your first job.
The Award consists of:
Introduction to tennis (core module)
Then 2 of the following modules:

Volunteering at your tennis venue​

Leading a practice session

Helping at your school
-
Helping at a competition

Recognition....For each Tennis Module you complete, including volunteering experience, you will receive a certificate relating to that module.

The course is run at 2 different venues at various times throughout the year. They are: Flackwell Heath Tennis Club and Blue Coat School Reading.
